Since the first appearance of the 2,840-square-foot residence 26 years ago in the 2000s drama series, this is the first time that the house is on sale, per Country & Town House. While the residence was located in the fictional town of Stars Hollow in Connecticut, the real location is in Unionville, 20 miles northeast of Toronto, Canada. The initial scenes from season one were shot in the residence, and the post-pilot episodes were shot in a Los Angeles set.

The interior of the massive house contains a renovated kitchen, a living room equipped with a wet bar, a dining room, and a home office. Along with a charming entrance through a private deck, the house has an additional suite for guests with a bathroom. To top it all, the house possesses 19th-century interiors including three fireplaces, wood-beamed ceilings, wooden floors, and a red-brick chimney.
