Amid Bihar’s Assembly elections, the RJD faces heightened legal pressure as the Rauz Avenue Court has formally framed charges against party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, and other accused in the land-for-job scam. Charges include IPC 420 (cheating), IPC 120B (criminal conspiracy), and Sections 13(2) and 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, with the latter two applying specifically to Lalu Yadav.
