Janhit: Tensions Rise in Bihar Mahagathbandhan as Tejashwi Launches Solo ‘Bihar Adhikar Yatra’ | ABP NEWS

As Bihar heads into election season, political friction within the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) is becoming increasingly visible. Just 15 days after participating in Rahul Gandhi’s “Voter Adhikar Yatra,” RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has now launched his own “Bihar Adhikar Yatra,” covering 10 Yadav-dominated districts. Political observers see this as a sign of growing discomfort between Congress and RJD, especially over seat-sharing and leadership. While Rahul Gandhi’s journey focused on Muslim-majority areas, Tejashwi’s new route is targeting his core support base — the Yadav and backward caste voters. Notably, Congress flags were absent at Tejashwi’s rallies, fueling speculation of a rift. Posters seen in his events also exposed local dissatisfaction with sitting RJD MLAs, indicating internal unrest. Congress, emboldened by its 2024 performance, is demanding a fair share of “winnable” seats and has not endorsed Tejashwi as the CM face. Meanwhile, BJP and JD(U) have reiterated Nitish Kumar as their alliance’s leader. Tejashwi’s solo move appears to be both a political test and a message: he is ready to lead — with or without full support. As election dates near, all eyes are on whether this alliance will hold or fracture.
