Crime: Firing in Bihar’s Madhepura: Shopkeeper’s Daughter Killed, Locals Protest by Blocking Highway

In a shocking daylight shooting incident in Bihar’s Madhepura district, unidentified assailants opened fire at a local shop, tragically killing the shopkeeper’s daughter. The incident occurred at a busy market area in Matahpura, sparking widespread outrage among the locals. Witnesses say the gunmen targeted the shop with the intent to cause harm, but the bullet struck the young girl, leading to her untimely death.In response, enraged locals took to the streets, blocking the highway in protest. The demonstration disrupted traffic and escalated tensions in the area. The police arrived promptly and are attempting to diffuse the situation by engaging with the protestors, urging them to remain calm. Despite the efforts of law enforcement, the situation remains tense with protests still ongoing. Authorities have launched an investigation into the shooting, but no arrests have been made so far. The community is demanding justice and greater security in the area.
