A major accident has been reported from Bundi district in Rajasthan where a Bolero car plunged into the Mej river, creating panic in the area. According to eyewitnesses, several people were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident, though the exact number of occupants has not yet been confirmed. The accident occurred so suddenly that locals nearby were left in shock, and within minutes, large crowds gathered at the spot.Following the alert, SDRF and Civil Defence teams launched a search operation during the night itself. Divers were also roped in to locate the submerged vehicle. Despite continuous efforts, the rescue teams have not been able to trace the car or its passengers so far. Officials suspect that the strong water current might have carried the vehicle further downstream, making the operation more difficult. The incident caused chaos on the nearby highway as villagers and passersby rushed to witness the rescue attempts, leading to heavy traffic congestion on both sides. Authorities have appealed to people to stay away from the riverbanks to ensure safety and allow smooth functioning of the rescue work. The operation is still ongoing, and further details are awaited.
