Bihar News: Major Train Accident in Bihar’s Jamui, 17 Freight Wagons Derail, Rail Services Hit

A major train accident has been reported from Jamui district in Bihar, where 17 wagons of a freight train derailed late at night. According to initial information, the incident occurred around 11 PM, and several wagons fell into the Badwa river. The freight train was carrying cement, and the derailment has severely affected rail services on the route. Rescue and restoration work is currently underway at the site, with railway officials and emergency teams deployed. Visuals from the spot show derailed wagons scattered near the tracks and river area. Authorities are assessing the cause of the accident, while efforts are being made to restore normal train movement as soon as possible.
