Actor Raveena Tandon is celebrating a major milestone as her critically acclaimed psychological thriller ‘Aks’ completes 25 years since its release. To mark the occasion, the actress took to social media and shared a heartfelt message, looking back on the film that remains one of the most distinctive projects of her career.Along with a series of stills from the film, Raveena opened up about her journey as Neeta, a character that continues to hold a special place in her heart even after two and a half decades.Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Raveena wrote, “25 years of AKS feels surreal that it’s been 25 years. Neeta is still so close to my heart, and it means a lot that the character and the film are remembered even today. #Aks was a very special journey for me, and I’m grateful for all the love it received then and continues to get now. A film that continues to be remembered

Released in 2001, ‘Aks’ stood out for its unconventional narrative and psychological themes. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film brought together an impressive cast led by Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee, and Raveena Tandon.Although the film explored a unique concept that was ahead of its time, it gradually earned appreciation from audiences and critics alike. On the professional front, Raveena Tandon was most recently seen in the multi-starrer comedy ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, directed by Ahmed Khan. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, and several other actors.The comedy entertainer continues its theatrical run despite entering its third week. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 55 lakhs net in India on Day 18, registering a 71.1 per cent decline from its previous day’s earnings. Despite the expected weekday slowdown, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ has maintained a steady overall theatrical run. The film’s India net collection currently stands at Rs 130.10 crore, while its India gross collection has reached Rs 154.63 crore.The film has also continued to add to its overseas earnings.
