Bihar Crime: Two Brothers Shot Dead at Reception Party in Patna’s Gopalpur Area

In a shocking incident, two real brothers were shot dead by unidentified assailants during a reception party in Shahpur under the Gopalpur police station limits of Patna on Sunday night. The attack took place at the residence of a man identified as Daulat Rai, where a reception function for his son was being held. According to police officials, armed criminals opened indiscriminate fire, killing the two brothers on the spot. The incident triggered panic and tension across the locality. City SP (East) Parichay Kumar confirmed that the victims, identified as Manjeet and Manish, were real brothers and died after being shot multiple times. He stated that an investigation is underway and the accused have been identified. Police recovered three empty cartridges from the crime scene. Raids are being conducted to apprehend those involved in the double murder. Authorities are examining all possible angles, including personal rivalry and prior disputes.
