Today is considered extremely crucial in the Twisha Sharma death case, as the Supreme Court is set to hold a major hearing. A three-judge bench led by the Chief Justice of India will hear the matter around 12 PM after the apex court took suo motu cognizance of the case. The court is expected to examine allegations of negligence in the investigation and may issue directions for a fair and improved probe. Earlier, Twisha’s second postmortem was conducted in Bhopal, while AIIMS Delhi stated that the report would take some more time. After waiting 13 days, Twisha’s family finally performed her last rites on Sunday. Meanwhile, another important hearing will take place in the Jabalpur High Court regarding the anticipatory bail plea of Twisha’s mother-in-law and former judge Giribala Singh. Twisha’s father has raised serious questions over the state investigation and demanded a CBI inquiry into the case.
