Heavy rain in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, led to the collapse of a dilapidated two-storey building in Belanganj. The structure had reportedly been vacant for some time because of its poor condition, while shops were located underneath it. The building suddenly collapsed amid intermittent rainfall, sending debris onto the area and triggering panic among nearby people. Those present in the vicinity quickly moved away after hearing the collapse. Fortunately, no one was inside the building and no casualties were reported, averting what could have been a major tragedy. The incident comes as several parts of the region continue to face heavy rainfall, waterlogging and damage to roads and structures
