Stas Reeflay forced his girlfriend out on a freezing balcony during a live stream from his home near Moscow on December 2, 2020. He was drinking on camera while viewers paid him money to continue the abuse. He pushed her outside, wearing only underwear in below-zero temperatures. He later brought her inside, but she was not moving. Instead of stopping, he kept streaming for nearly two hours while sitting next to her lifeless body. Viewers could see him crying. Police and paramedics arrived during the live stream. According to Business Insider and The Moscow Times, she was already dead by the time they reached.

Reports said he had hit her, thrown things at her, and even pepper sprayed her before on past streams. According to Yahoo News, he locked her outside in the freezing cold while thousands watched live. When he pulled her back inside, she looked pale and silent. But he continued talking to the camera and claimed she just passed out. The stream did not stop, and people kept watching in shock. Some viewers finally reported it to the police.
