‘No idea he was an ICE agent’: Neighbor says Jonathan Ross, who shot Renee Good, told them he was a botanist

'No idea he was an ICE agent': Neighbor says Jonathan Ross, who shot Renee Good, told them he was a botanist

Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who shot Minneapolis woman Renee Good dead, did not reveal his actual profession to the neighbors and instead told them he was a botanist. A woman who lives in Ross’ neighborhood in Minneapolis told PEOPLE that she was shocked to hear the news that Ross shot dead a woman, also because she did not klnow Ross was an ICE agent. The womn said she met Ross once at a neighborhood garage party in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic where Ross described his jobs to the guests. And he said he worked with plants, as a botanist.

ICE Minnesota Killing: UNSEEN Video Shows Renee ‘STALKING’ Agents Before Jonathan Ross Opened Fire

“[He said he] enjoyed border control… but loved plants,” she says. “So when I found out he was the one on the news, I said, ‘What! That’s so crazy!’ I had no idea he was an ICE agent.”“It really creeps me out that those are my neighbors — that that’s the kind of people I live next to. It’s really upsetting,” the woman said, adding, “I just assumed all the ICE agents were like, from Texas and Arizona and Florida.”

Where is Jonathan Ross?

Jonathan Ross is believed to be in hiding after his name came up as the killer of Renee Good. The administration stood by him and defended his action of opening fire, supporting the narrative that Renee Good, the woman in a car, was going to run him over. But Democratic leaders are calling for charging him and arresting him as they claimed that Renee Good was not going to attack the ICE agent but she was turning her car away. The New York Times reported that the federal investigators are unlikely to press charges against Ross. The Donald Trump administration branded Good as a ‘terrorist’ while her family members claimed that she was not an activist and dropped her son off at the schools moments before she got in the way of the ICE agents and was shot dead. Good’s friends claimed that she was an anti-ICE warrior, was part of a local ICE Watch group and used to document immigration crackdown in Minnesota.
