The official title of Malayalam cinema’s Nivin Pauly’s 50th film has been revealed as ‘Vijayam’. The makers unveiled the title and teaser were released on June 27 The film is written, directed and edited by Alphonse Puthren.
‘Vijayam’ announcement video
The title announcement came through a four-minute video that was made like a short film. In the video, Alphonse Puthren is seen waiting for someone to give him a lift. While waiting, he spends time taking close-up pictures of ants and insects, a fun reference to his well-known filmmaking style.
Nivin Pauly’s first look
Soon, Nivin Pauly arrives on a bike wearing a stylish racer outfit. He tells Puthren that he has been trying to find him because they have “work to do.” The teaser ends by revealing the title ‘Vijayam’.Speaking of the first look, the poster shows Nivin in a rugged biker look, giving fans the feeling that the film could be a high-energy action entertainer.The film is special because it brings Nivin Pauly and Alphonse Puthren together again after 11 years. Their last film together, ‘Premam’, became one of the biggest hits in Malayalam cinema.Check out below Nivin Pauly and Alphonse Puthren first worked together in Neram in 2013. The film introduced Puthren as a director and received a good response. They later teamed up for ‘Premam’ in 2015, which became a blockbuster and earned cult status among movie lovers.

Apart from ‘Vijayam’, Nivin Pauly has several films in different stages of production. These include ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’, a romantic comedy with Mamitha Baiju, ‘Benz’, where he plays the villain Walter and ‘Dear Students’, which also stars Nayanthara.
