Mizkif permanently banned on Kick? Here’s the truth behind the rumors

Rumors have been spreading that popular streamer Mizkif has been permanently banned from Kick. The confusion started after a video surfaced in which he jokingly said his account was banned and that he might return to Twitch. Clips on social media made it seem like Mizkif’s Kick channel was gone for good. However, the reality is much simpler. Mizkif’s channel is still active, and the situation was actually a brief suspension due to a DMCA claim, not a permanent ban.The incident happened around December 19–20, when Mizkif streamed movies solo on Kick, including Home Alone. A Kick staff member sent him a DMCA notice, which caused a short suspension. Temporary restrictions like this are common on streaming platforms like Kick and Twitch when copyrighted content is streamed. In the viral video clip, Mizkif jokingly said, “I’ve been permanently banned… might go back to Twitch,” which led many fans to believe the ban was real.

What actually happened with Mizkif’s Kick channel

The clip that caused all the confusion came from a video Mizkif posted, in which he dramatically said something like, “I’ve been permanently banned… might go back to Twitch.” This was meant as a joke and an exaggerated reaction for his chat, not a real statement about a permanent ban. The video quickly went viral, with fan posts and forum discussions spreading the story that Mizkif’s Kick channel had been banned. Some of the clips even racked up hundreds of thousands of views, and a few posts were later deleted, adding to the confusion. Despite the rumors, Mizkif’s Kick channel remains fully live. Recent streams, such as his Hardcore WoW event on December 17, are still available to watch, and analytics through December 22 confirm the channel is active. The brief DMCA suspension was resolved quickly, and Mizkif resumed streaming within hours. The misunderstanding appears to have been caused by the hyperbolic statements in the video combined with fan speculation. There is no evidence of a permanent ban, and the channel continues to operate normally. In conclusion, Mizkif’s Kick channel is still active and streaming as usual. The temporary DMCA suspension was short-lived, and the permanent ban rumors circulating online are false. Fans can continue to enjoy Mizkif’s content on Kick without worry. Also Read: DDG claps back after stranger questions his YouTube and streaming earnings
