Indian-origin student Manojh Lella arrested in Dallas for threatening family, trying to set his home on fire

Manojh Lella, a 22-year-old Indian-origin student at the University of Texas, was arrested Monday after police were called to his home by his family members who were frightened after Manojh threatened them. According to local reports, it was being considered as a mental health episode. Fox4news reported that family members told the cops that Lella threatened to harm them and was also trying to set the home on fire a few days ago. Lella was booked into the Collin County jail on charges of terroristic threat of a family/household and arson with intended damage to a habitat or place of worship. The investigation is ongoing and the police said there is no evidence of a threat against any place of worship at this time. His bond is set at $100,000 for the arson allegation and $3,500 for the misdemeanor threat charge.Manojh’s LinkedIn profile shows he is a senior at the University of Texas studying IT. “I’m a driven and passionate senior at the University of Texas at Dallas, pursuing a degree in Information Technology.
