Maatrubhumi: Salman-Chitrangda’s Chand Dekh Lena BTS video

‘Maatrubhumi’: Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh's ‘Chand Dekh Lena’ BTS video went viral

Salman Khan gears up for ‘Matrubhumi’ war drama as ‘Chand Dekh Lena’ BTS video sparks buzz. Originally Battle of Galwan, release eyed for May 15 after delays. Title shift emphasizes humanity over battle, per director Apoorva Lakhia. Himesh Reshammiya’s track ties moon to Eid, Karwa Chauth emotions.

Salman Khan is prepping for his intense war drama ‘Matrubhumi’, that’s been making waves right from the announcement. The team just unveiled the track ‘Chand Dekh Lena’, and fans are raving about it. Chitrangda Singh upped the excitement today by posting a BTS video, revealing the magic behind the song’s creation.

‘Maatrubhumi’ song BTS ignites buzz

On Instagram, Chitrangda posted the making video of ‘Chand Dekh Lena’, featuring Salman and herself rehearsing the song. Dropped in March, it masterfully highlights the moon’s deep emotional ties to Eid and Karwa Chauth. For Eid, the moon signals joy and unity; for Karwa Chauth, it evokes love, yearning, and devotion, blending these traditions through shared feelings of hope and emotion. Himesh Reshammiya’s composition is already being celebrated as a timeless Bollywood melody of romance and longing.

‘Maatrubhumi’ release date shifts ahead

Originally titled ‘Battle of Galwan’, the movie was set for an April 17 release. However, due to pending shoots, the makers postponed it without revealing a new date. Now, reports indicate the Salman Khan starrer could arrive in theaters on May 15.

‘Maatrubhumi’ May 15 emerges as frontrunner

According to the Bollywood Hungama source, the additional shoot is done, and the film will be ready soon. Hence, the makers feel that it’s better to bring out the film sooner rather than later. They are looking at several options and are seriously considering May 15. At one point, they wanted to get the film out on Independence Day, but that won’t be possible as Aamir Khan has taken the slot for the Sunny Deol-starrer ‘Lahore 1947’. The current plan is to ascertain if releasing Maatrubhumi on May 15 is possible. If not, they’ll release it later. Meanwhile, an official announcement is still awaited.

‘Maatrubhumi’ title evolution explained

Salman revealed the updated title and a striking new poster on March 16, bearing the tagline “May War Rest in Peace.” It signals the team’s vision to go beyond a mere war narrative, spotlighting war’s human toll and the call for peace. ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’ is eyeing an April 17, 2026, theatrical debut for now. Industry whispers, however, suggest a delay to mid-August for the Independence Day slot. Director Apoorva Lakhia shed light on the shift, sharing with HTCity, “Changing the title may feel sudden to SK sir’s fans, but it was never an overnight decision. From the start, we had registered two titles, Battle of Galwan and Maatrubhumi. As we went through the journey of making our film, we realised it was never just about a battle. At its heart, the film is about humanity, empathy, and the silent battles our soldiers fight.” Go to Source
