Ludwig Ahgren raised $104,094 for The Trevor Project during a special charity livestream he hosted on November 14, 2025, from his setup in Los Angeles. He held this stream to honor Kanabana, one of his oldest viewers, after learning on November 13, 2025, that she had passed away a few weeks earlier. Ludwig Ahgren said she had been watching him since his early days, when he had only about 100 viewers, and she always brought joy and comfort to the chat.Kanabana was amusing, energetic, and caused him to believe in his dream of being a full-time creator, he shared on X. Additionally, transgender, she claimed his neighborhood was among the few venues where she felt free to be herself. During the livestream on November 14, 2025, Ludwig Ahgren titled the event, “Speedrunning Ludwig Charity Stream, At $100K I Dye My Hair Blonde.”His plan was to collect donations to support The Trevor Project while celebrating the memory of Kanabana. The charity provides crisis hotlines, mental-health support, and emergency help for LGBTQ+ youth across the United States.People from all over joined the broadcast and donated throughout the stream. By the end, the total reached $104,094, crossing the original goal. After the number appeared on screen, Ludwig Ahgren spoke directly to the audience and thanked them for coming together. He said, “I think we have a really special community. I appreciate you guys very much, and I think we should do this every year.” He also reminded viewers that he now had to bleach his hair blonde because the goal was met, sharing he planned to get it done sometime that weekend.Ludwig Ahgren closed the stream with a short message for Kanabana, saying, “Thank you, and rest in peace, Kanabana,” giving the community a quiet moment. He described all along the stream and afterward how she had been there for him from the start and how much significance she held for many chat members.
