Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro are now in open public war. The clash became louder after Ben Shapiro slammed Candace Owens on the AmFest stage on December 18. He told the crowd to reject her claims and said people who do not call her out are “cowards.” This moment quickly became the center of a growing conservative split.Soon after, Candace Owens fired back in strong words. She reacted on X after Steve Bannon attacked Ben Shapiro during his own AmFest speech. Owens accused Shapiro of jealousy, betrayal, and trying to take credit for others’ work. Her words shocked many and pushed the feud into a new and serious phase. The fight did not stay on the stage. Candace Owens also used her podcast to accuse Shapiro of past actions at The Daily Wire and of working behind the scenes against her. On December 19, Megyn Kelly added fuel by saying she is no longer friends with Shapiro, even while disagreeing with Owens on some points. The situation is now one of the biggest public rifts in conservative media.

Candace Owens targets Ben Shapiro after AmFest clash involving Charlie Kirk, TPUSA, and The Daily Wire

After Steve Bannon called Ben Shapiro a “cancer” on the AmFest stage, a clip was shared online. Candace Owens replied with a long and angry post. She wrote, “Yes. Ben has a long career of behaving like a parasite. He thinks he has a right to take over what other people build.” She added that Shapiro was jealous of Charlie Kirk and said, “He treated Charlie TERRIBLY… ON YOUR BELLY, WORM.”Earlier the same day, on her podcast, Owens said Ben Shapiro did not support Charlie Kirk when he was alive. She questioned his concern for Erika Kirk and said, “Personally, I think he knows something about her.” She later posted on X, “Every time Ben speaks I feel more certain Israel is involved in 9/10… Ben only cares about Israel’s interests.”Candace Owens also claimed Ben Shapiro fired her from The Daily Wire in March 2024 and blamed management. She said that was not enough and that he tried to ruin her name. According to Owens, Charlie Kirk later gave her a stage at TPUSA, which she says angered Shapiro. She claimed donors were used to block her future invite, saying Charlie Kirk told her this directly.Candace Owens ended her podcast rant by saying she was done with Shapiro, using harsh language to show there was no path back. On December 19, Megyn Kelly also criticized Shapiro at AmFest. She said she is no longer his friend but defended Owens’ right to ask questions, even if she disagrees with her views. Also Read: “W/O A Damn Clue”: Megyn Kelly Rips Bari Weiss After Ben Shapiro Attacks Candace Owens At TPUSA AmFest
