Coldplay kiss-cam scandal: Ex-Astronomer CEO caught on camera again—this time with his wife

Ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was spotted enjoying a sunny weekend in Maine with his wife, Megan, more than two months after the tech tycoon made headlines for a kiss-cam moment with his HR chief at a Coldplay concert. Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show Byron and Megan wearing their wedding bands as they left a lavish Kennebunk mansion—reportedly where Megan has been staying since the scandal—to enjoy a romantic sunset picnic at a nearby beach. Other snaps capture the couple strolling through the upscale neighborhood in casual sweats and athleisure wear. The drama erupted in July when Byron was caught on a Gillette Stadium jumbotron cozying up to Kristin Cabot, his former chief people officer, during Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres World Tour.” Lead singer Chris Martin quipped, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” as the awkward duo ducked out of view. The moment quickly went viral, prompting widespread social media frenzy. Following the scandal, the AI-focused New York company where Byron and Cabot worked launched an investigation and placed both employees on leave. Byron resigned the following day at 51, while Cabot stepped down less than a week later. Cabot later filed for divorce from her husband Andrew on August 13, though Byron and Megan have yet to file any paperwork to end their marriage in Massachusetts. Since the Coldplay incident, Megan, 50, has largely stayed out of the spotlight, removing her name from social media and reverting to her maiden name, Kerrigan. The couple’s dramatic split saw her relocate from their multi-million-dollar Northborough home to the four-bedroom, 4,169-square-foot property in Maine. Meanwhile, Byron, 51, appears to be attempting a low-key reconciliation with his wife—or at least making peace—strolling hand-in-hand along Maine’s beaches as the scandal slowly fades from public view.
