'Threats of false cases': Ex-AAP worker accuses Punjab minister of sexual harassment

PATIALA: A former AAP women’s wing functionary has filed a sexual harassment complaint in a Patiala court against Punjab health minister Dr Balbir Singh, who has denied the charges and said that he will “file a reply in the court”.In her Sept 29 petition before CJM, the woman accused Singh of repeated harassment, molestation and intimidation, and named his son, close aides, a local party neta and AAP Punjab unit as co-accused in a criminal conspiracy to threaten and defame her. She alleged unwelcome advances, demands for sexual favours, threats of false cases, spyware on her phone and circulation of defamatory material. She sought registration of a criminal case and the arrest of all the accused.
