Nishikant urges LS Speaker for parliamentary probe into Rahul’s ‘unethical conduct’, revoking his membership

‘Modi Under Trump’s Grip’: Rahul Gandhi Hits Back At Nishikant Dubey’s Motion

NEW DELHI: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has urged Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to conduct an inquiry into the “unethical conduct” of the leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi and hold a discussion in the House over the issue, launching a sharp attack on the Congress leader a day he accused the government of compromising India’s interests in the trade agreement with the US.”Unethical Conduct of Shri Rahul Gandhi, MP – Constituting a Parliamentary Inquiry Committee to investigate his continual misdeeds for destabilizing the country and rescinding his ‘MP status’,” is the subject of the letter Dubey submitted to Birla. Among the issues flagged by Dubey in a letter to Birla is Rahul’s frequent trips abroad, especially, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Bahrain. He alleged that Rahul neither requests the government to extend his security cover to the visiting countries nor does he inform the Indian embassy when he goes abroad. His tours are invariably shrouded in mystery, he said, linking this to his association with Ford Foundation.”We all know that ‘Ford Foundation’ is a notorious entity for destabilizing various states with ‘regime change’,” he said, pushing for a probe into the funding of his visits.Dubey, a strident critic of the Nehru-Gandhi family, alleged that Rahul has become a part of the gang to destabilise India from within. His “relentless and well-choreographed actions” within and outside Parliament, which are inimical to the country, is being debated everywhere, he claimed.”If I, as a responsible public representative – even with a small zone of influence and a humble background – fail to bring this to your kind notice, I would not be doing justice to my constitutional duty of upholding the unity, integrity and sovereignty of our country,” he told Birla. While public representatives avoid dragging armed forces in political point-scoring, Rahul spoke of former army chief Gen (retd) M M Naravane and quoted his unpublished book with the “ulterior motive of.defaming the Indian Army, the Ministry of Defence along with shamefully involving our Prime Minister,” the fourth-term Lok Sabha MP said.”This is not that for the first time that Rahul Gandhi has made efforts to create controversy with the objective of defaming the government – be it Defence, Finance, Commerce, External Affairs. He has the uncanny knack of fomenting the public sentiments by raising unsubstantiated and unethical aspects in Parliament as well as other public fora,” he said. This is due to his association with Geore Soros, a billionaire investor accused by BJP of funding activism against the Indian govt.Rahul also suggested that Indian banking system has collapsed due to its connivance with big business houses, which was nothing but an attempt to destabilize the country from within, he said.Dubey said this is only tip of the iceberg, accusing Rahul of using his position as LoP to foment public sentiments, levelling unsubstantiated allegations not only against the Election Commission but even Supreme Court, lowering the dignity of the government without any substantive evidence and putting various others institutions in bad light.
