Senthamangalam Assembly constituency is located in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category. In the 2026 assembly polls, P Chandrasekar emerged as the winner from Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam defeating AIADMK candidate C Chandrasekaran by a margin of 2,655 votes. P Chandrasekar secured 68,815 votes while Chandrasekaran fell behind with 66,160 votes. On the third place was DMK fielded P Poomala who gained 64,951 votes. Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) candidate Santhi R won the seat with 76,637 votes, defeating DMK candidate Ponnusamy K, who secured 68,132 votes.
