Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri heads to Washington to review 'full spectrum' India–US ties

NEW DELHI: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is set to visit Washington DC from April 8 to 10, in a trip that is expected to review the full spectrum of ties between India and the United States, the ministry of external affairs (MEA) said.In a statement, the ministry of external affairs said the visit will provide an opportunity for both sides to assess ongoing cooperation and discuss ways to further strengthen the bilateral partnership.”The visit will provide an opportunity to review the full spectrum of India–U.S. bilateral relations and advance ongoing cooperation across key areas. During the visit, the Foreign Secretary will hold discussions with senior officials of the U.S. Administration on a wide range of issues, including trade, defence, science and technology, as well as regional and global developments of mutual interest,” a statement by MEA said.
