Embodying the film through her clothes, her tactics of method dressing are one of the most popular things about the artist that many look forward to. With ‘The Odyssey’ right around the corner, the ‘Euphoria’ actress has already upped her game with a stunning gown to channel Athena, her character in the film.
Zendaya channels Athena in a new promo event for ‘The Odyssey’
The famed actress took the red carpet by storm once more to promote ‘The Odyssey’. On July 6, ahead of the film’s official release, a world premiere for Christopher Nolan’s next work was held at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, where most of the cast was present to celebrate it all.On the red carpet and during the premiere, Zendaya perfectly embodied Athena, who was also known as the goddess of wisdom, strategic warfare, and crafts. She opted to wear a stunning floor-length bodycon gown adorned with a white breastplate bodice, meant to represent white marble as it accented defined abs, ribs, and a belly button.The floor-length skirt was covered in ombré fringes made from beads, and transitioned from white to silver to create an overall stunning look for the night. She further completed her fit for the night by adding nude heels, as well as a 5-layer diamond choker necklace. Even her hair played a role in the outfit for the night as she opted for half braids and minimal makeup.

This was not the only look that the actress opted to feature at the world premiere, as she changed into a flowy sage green dress, inspired by Greek style. The bralette was made up of material that looked like ruffled leaves, while her skirt embodied a flowy tunic that went down to her ankles. Press photos showed that the actress also opted to switch out her jewelry and wear heavy diamond earrings with this outfit. Vogue reported that the dangly earrings were made from 27 carat diamonds.In ‘The Odyssey’, Zendaya plays the role of Athena, Odysseus’s divine protector as he journeys back home to his wife Penelope and son Telemachus over the course of ten years, battling supernatural entities and other challenges along with his crew after the Trojan War.Zendaya’s partner, Tom Holland, who is also in the film, was there at the world premiere as well and had opted to wear a simple yet sleek dark blue suit set for the night. The couple confirmed recently that they had privately gotten married. As of right now, absolutely no details about their wedding have been shared with the public, other than Holland passing a brief comment about the matter.Zendaya and Tom Holland are also set to appear as the main leads in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, which is slated for release later this month.
