When Ameesha addressed possibility of marrying Salman

When Ameesha Patel addressed the possibility of marrying Salman Khan and having ‘good-looking babies’

Bollywood linkups and breakups are among the most talked-about topics in society. Not just that, people also love to play matchmakers and imagine ‘what if’ their favorite stars end up together. Earlier this year, ‘Gadar 2’ star Ameesha Patel also shared how her fans often play matchmakers and ask her about the possibility of her marrying Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor, Salman Khan! The actress even entertained the possibility playfully, and shared that people love to see two beautiful personalities coming together.

When Ameesha Patel opened up about the possibility of marrying Salman Khan

While speaking to Bollywood Bubble, the actress, on a very fun and light note, was asked about the ‘single’ status that both Ameesha and Salman share. Replying to it, Ameesha mentioned that fans have raised similar questions on X (formerly called Twitter), and stated, “They’re like okay he is so eligible, you’re so eligible, you’re so good-looking, please get married to have good-looking babies.” The actress giggled as the idea piqued her interest. “I was like, wow, that’s a great reason. I think the world likes seeing beautiful people come together,” she said. And this is not a standalone moment. Last year in June, another fan poked fun at the same subject, suggesting Ameesha and Salman should get married, and she replied, “Salman is not married, and nor am I? So you feel we should get married? What’s your key point for us to get married – shaadi or a film project?”

When fans wanted Ameesha Patel and ‘War 2’ actor Hrithik Roshan to be a real couple

Ameesha added that fans even wanted her and Hrithik Roshan to have a relationship, but were disappointed when he shared the news of his marriage to Sussanne Khan (now his ex). “They wanted to see me and Hrithik come together post ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.’ And when he announced his marriage, they were heartbroken. They were like, ‘No! This can’t happen.’”She added that it is a job well done for actors when the character they play on screen impacts their audience to the extent that they want things to become reality. “It’s a testimony to your work that you could convincingly script through good performances, through great chemistry, that you know this couple belongs to each other,” she mentioned.
