‘Border 2’ box office collection day 13 (LIVE)

'Border 2' box office collection day 13 (LIVE): The Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan sees drop, inches towards Rs 290 crore

‘Border 2’ which released in cinemas on January 23 has been enjoying a good run a the box office. While it raised hopes with a good opening weekend and a major jump on Republic day holiday, people thought, it may continue its growth and get to the level of ‘Dhurandhar’. However, that hasn’t happened. The film began to see a decline just post Republic day. While it made Rs 224.25 crore in the first week, the second week numbers might be low as now as it nears the end of week two, the film has crossed Rs 280 crore.Border 2 Movie Review It did not face much competition from Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mardaani 3’ as it had an edge over it. Not to mention, the makers of ‘Mardaani 3’ strategically also had a limited release for the movie just in particular shows. Hence, ‘Border 2’ wasn’t affected by it, but the film has begun to see a decline. This Friday, February 6, sees the release of Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta’s ‘Vadh 2’. So, the Sunny Deol starrer still has the time to make the most of its run in theatres but one guesses the movie has begun to lose steam. ‘Border 2’ made Rs 5.75 crore on second Monday, and the same number on second Tuesday as well. On Wednesday, day 13, the film has made Rs 0.55 crore till afternoon. The total collection now, according to Sacnilk, is Rs 287.3 crore. ‘Border 2’ day wise box office collection: Day 1 [1st Friday] ₹ 30 Cr -Day 2 [1st Saturday] ₹ 36.5 Cr Day 3 [1st Sunday] ₹ 54.5 Cr Day 4 [1st Monday] ₹ 59 CrDay 5 [1st Tuesday] ₹ 20 Cr Day 6 [1st Wednesday] ₹ 13 Cr Day 7 [1st Thursday] ₹ 11.25 Cr Week 1 Collection ₹ 224.25 Cr Day 8 [2nd Friday] ₹ 10.75 Cr Day 9 [2nd Saturday] ₹ 17.75 Cr Day 10 [2nd Sunday] ₹ 22.5 Cr Day 11 [2nd Monday] ₹ 5.75 Cr Day 12 [2nd Tuesday] ₹ 5.75 Cr Day 13 [2nd Wednesday] ₹ 0.55 Cr Total ₹ 287.3 Cr
