Veteran actor Dinyar Tirandaz passes away in Mumbai; Chitrangda Singh, Suresh Menon mourn Zabaan Sambhal Ke star

Veteran actor Dinyar Tirandaz, known for his memorable roles in television shows and Bollywood films, has reportedly passed away in Mumbai. The news of his demise surfaced on social media on Thursday, leaving fans and members of the entertainment industry saddened.The news was first shared through a Facebook post by the group “Parsi Zoroastrians Worldwide – The Hyderabadi Page.” An Instagram post by “The 90s India” also informed followers about the actor’s passing.The post read, “Mr. Dinyar Tirandaz brother of Late Rustom Tirandaz has left for his heavenly abode. Paidust today at Wadia Bungli, Bombay, at 3:45 pm. Sarosh Yazad Ni Panah. Ashem Vohu.”

Dinyar Tirandaz’s journey in films and television

Dinyar Tirandaz was a familiar face in the entertainment industry for several decades. He made his acting debut with the 1984 film Duniya and went on to feature in popular television shows such as Nukkad and Byomkesh Bakshi.He became widely popular for playing Mr. Keki Daruwala in the hit sitcom Zabaan Sambhal Ke. The character remains one of the most loved and remembered roles of his career.Apart from television, Tirandaz appeared in several Bollywood films, including Hello Brother, Albela, Chalte Chalte, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? , Kya Kehna, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin and Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal. His last known film appearances included the Gujarati family drama Wass…up! Zindagi.
