Rachit Singh breaks silence on October wedding rumours with Huma Qureshi: ‘Main soch raha hun apni mummy ka number de doon’

Rachit Singh has denied wedding rumours with Huma Qureshi, saying, “It’s not happening!” Speculation grew after the two attended a wedding reception together and made frequent public appearances. Rachit, also an acting coach for a decade, spoke about working with Huma and her brother Saqib Saleem, and shared his goal of acting lifelong.

Breakout star and seasoned acting coach Rachit Singh has officially broken his silence on the swirling rumors of an impending winter wedding with Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. Following their stellar screen collaboration in the gritty crime drama ‘Baby Do Die Do’, released earlier this July and a series of high-profile public appearances, reports surfaced claiming the duo was planning an intimate October or November nuptial ceremony. Reacting with humor and candor, Rachit dismissed the gossip, joking about passing out his mother’s phone number to handle the endless influx of inquiries.

Sab log mujhe phone kar ke puch rahe hai. It’s not happening!” Dismissing the rumours, he assured that he would inform the media whenever the wedding actually takes place.

Rachit Singh’s journey as an acting coach

For the unversed, Rachit has also served as an acting coach for the past decade. He is currently going through an exciting phase in his career, relishing the dual experience of being both an acting coach and an actor.

He also spoke about working alongside close friends like Huma and her brother, Saqib Saleem, sharing that their presence on set puts him at ease. He further mentioned that his own acting experience has given him a better understanding of the aspiring actors who come to him for coaching. “I always connected with them (acting students), whether I was working as an actor or not, but now, with the experience of working on sets, it gives me a lot of perspective,” he said. Speaking about his future goals, he added, “I would like to be an actor till the end of my life.”

How Rachit Singh, Huma Qureshi dating rumours started

Speculation about Huma and Rachit’s rumoured relationship began after the two attended a celebrity wedding reception together. Their growing number of public appearances since then only added fuel to the rumours. Some reports even claimed the couple was planning to get married this October.

Huma Qureshi’s note for Rachit Singh

A few weeks prior to the release of ‘Baby Do Die Do’, Huma had posted a heartfelt note for Rachit on social media, welcoming him into films and reflecting on his journey in the industry. This led many to speculate that she was subtly confirming their relationship. Go to Source
