Vedang Raina has made it to the big screen with his latest release ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga,’ alongside Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari and others. The movie is a romantic drama set amid the backdrop of partition lead to broken dreams and hearts. And speaking of broken hearts, in an exclusive conversation with us, Vedang Raina shared a page from his personal life. When asked about has he every gone through heartbreak, he candidly shared, “I have. I think everyone has at some point, and it need not be a romantic uh heartbreak. It could be any kind.”

He continued, “I’ve definitely gone through many heartbreaks.” When asked how he coped with it, he replied, “Well, I guess time genuinely heals everything. I know this is really, you know, a cliché thing to say, but like with time you figure your things out.”Further explaining his point, Vedang mentioned, “You figure out how to adapt to certain changes in your life that are heartbreaking. I guess you learn to love yourself more. I think the more you love yourself, the less heartbreak affects you.”

In our conversation, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali also opened up about what he finds most unique and noteworthy about Vedang. He said, “As an actor, he wants all his answers. He prepares for the shot or the scene, days in advance, when we were reading with him. He would try to get every note right.”

The ‘Tamasha’ director feels it’s the musician inside Vedang that adds more to his actor personality. He said, “Because he is also a musician, he wants to get everything perfectly placed in his mind. And clarify everything, then start doing the take. Your comfort is that you want to know every small bit.”However, in this film, he did let go, which, according to the director, is a sign of courage. “I think that was noteworthy for me. And it’s a very technical acting thing, not like a prank or a quirk.”
