Hyundai India CretaHyundai Motor India (HMIL) on Saturday reported a 23.3 per cent year-on-year increase in domestic sales to 54,210 units in July 2026, compared with 43,958 units in the corresponding month last year.
According to a regulatory filing, total sales, including exports, rose 25.4 per cent to a record 75,360 units, marking the company’s highest-ever monthly sales since inception.
During the month, the Hyundai Creta recorded its highest monthly sales in calendar year 2026 at 18,088 units, while the Hyundai i20 posted its best monthly sales of the year at 6,738 units.
“We have kicked off the new quarter on a strong note. Achieving 75,360 total sales, our highest-ever monthly volume since inception, underscores the immense trust consumers place in the Hyundai brand,” said Tarun Garg, Managing Director & CEO, Hyundai Motor India.
Exports surged 31.4 per cent to 21,150 units, the company’s highest monthly export volume in more than 100 months, driven by strong overseas demand, added the company.
