Varun Dhawan addresses trolling before ‘Border 2’ release

Before ‘Border 2’ hit the big screens, Varun had to deal with heavy trolling on social media. A scene from the trailer, where he is seen smiling, sparked criticism from many who doubted his ability to portray Col. Hoshiyar Singh Dahiya, a Param Vir Chakra hero. Despite the negativity, Varun chose not to respond and focused on delivering his best performance. While talking to the media recently, the actor shared that Salman Khan had personally called him during that time to show his support.
