Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ release date OUT

'Jana Nayagan' release date OUT: Thalapathy Vijay starrer plans big screens arrival ahead of the actor's birthday

Ever since Vijay announced his decision to step away from cinema after entering politics, expectations around ‘Jana Nayagan’ have become massive among fans. The film is said to be Vijay’s final movie before fully focusing on his political journey with Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Directed by H. Vinoth, the movie features Bobby Deol as the antagonist. Along with him, Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju play important roles in the film. Music for the project has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

‘Jana Nayagan’ reportedly eyeing June 19 release date

The latest report from News 18 suggests that ‘Jana Nayagan’ is now planning for a theatrical release on June 19. The release date information recently appeared on the District App, an online movie ticket booking platform, creating huge excitement among fans. Many believe the makers are planning to release the film around Vijay’s birthday celebrations on June 22 to make the occasion even more special. Though there is no official confirmation yet from the makers, the June release buzz has already started trending strongly on social media.

Censor delay and online leak created problems for ‘Jana Nayagan’

Earlier, the makers had officially announced a grand Pongal release for January 9. However, the film failed to arrive in theatres because the censor certificate was not issued on time. Reports say the team has still been waiting for the final clearance for several months. In another shocking development, parts of the film were illegally leaked online, creating tension for the production team. However, despite these obstacles, fans have continued to patiently wait for news on the film’s release. The delay has only increased curiosity around Vijay’s final cinematic outing.

Producer confident about grand worldwide release of ‘Jana Nayagan’

Recently, producer Venkat K. Narayana spoke to the media and assured fans that the censor process is nearing completion. He said the team expects to receive the certificate very soon and plans to announce the official release date immediately after that. According to him, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is being prepared for a massive worldwide theatrical release. With fresh reports now pointing toward a June 19 release, Vijay fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcement from the makers. The excitement surrounding the film continues to grow day by day as audiences prepare to witness Vijay’s final big-screen appearance.
