Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding: Permit filed for street closure

Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding: Couple file permit for street closure, space for tents ahead of multi-day celebrations

The countdown to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding has officially begun!Amid speculation about their upcoming wedding, new reports indicate that a permit has been filed to close streets around Madison Square Garden during the first week of July.According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge claim that a permit has been submitted to New York City officials requesting for street closures around Madison Square Garden for three days – from July 2 to July 4 for a ‘July 3 event’. As part of the arrangements, the event planners have also reportedly requested space for tents, canopies and trucks surrounding the venue. The latest update comes days after it was reported that the couple have reserved Madison Square Garden for a multi-day wedding celebration. Sources previously told TMZ that the couple had rented the iconic venue for at least three, with the main festivities expected to take place on July 3.At the same time, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani also casually confirmed a “Taylor Swift’s wedding” among the large-scale gatherings expected to take place in the city. The event is reportedly expected to host more than 1,000 guests and is said to have cost millions of dollars. The report further states that additional signs of a major celebration in MSG came when several members of the Kansas City Chiefs team reportedly booked accommodations in Times Square for the same period, just in time for the 4th of July holiday.Meanwhile, George Kittle and his wife, Claire Kittle, confirmed in a chat with Entertainment Tonight that they will be attending Taylor and Travis’ wedding. The couple said they were looking forward to the celebration but had not been informed of the venue details. “We don’t know where it’s going to be,” they said, adding that Kittle’s outfit plans are currently limited to wearing a blue suit.Reports have also claimed that a number of celebrities have received invitations to the highly anticipated event, including Sombr, Suki Waterhouse, Karlie Kloss and Benson Boone, alongside friends and family members outside the entertainment industry.
