'Sweet Magnolias Season 5': Final installment shoot wraps up; fans await release date

Serving the savoury drama, ‘Sweet Magnolias Season 5′ has wrapped its production – and will soon be airing on our screens for its final showdown. The cast and crew celebrated with their drinks, declaring that the cameras had stopped rolling on their social media. Giving the audience a taste of the last sip, the series looks forward to going into post production.

The announcement was made by their official Instagram account, where the embedded picture was of multiple glasses topped with lemon slices and strawberries cut in a heart shape. “We’ve talked about it, prayed about it, and poured it out. That’s a wrap on Season 5! Here’s a toast to our incredible cast, crew, writers, and producers — for their hard work, their passion, and their love. Have a margarita and celebrate! 🥂 And for the fans: We can’t wait to welcome you back to Serenity,” the heartfelt note in the caption read. While the official release date has not been announced, it is expected to air sometime in 2026, according to a What’s On Netflix report. The filming for the show started in June 2025 and took various shots in cities like Atlanta, Georgia, and New York.
