Sushant Singh Rajput’s AI tool gains popularity among fans

Sushant Singh Rajput's AI tool gains popularity among fans; Family slams

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s AI tool lets fans chat with an AI mimicking his voice and style. While over 550,000 have interacted with it, his family has called it “insensitive” and requested Meta to remove it. Meanwhile, his sister Shweta continues seeking justice for his 2020 death.

Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has become a topic of renewed conversation due to advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Remarkably, fans are now able to interact with an AI-powered tool that imitates his style of communication, creating the impression of conversing with the actor himself. How the AI Tool worksAs per Mid-Day, this AI tool is available in the AI section of the social media platform. It has been developed by training on the late actor’s publicly accessible interviews, tweets, posts, and speeches to accurately replicate his voice and manner of speaking. Users simply need to type their questions, and the AI responds with answers that closely resemble the way Sushant used to talk, often including topics like science, astronomy, and philosophy—areas he was passionate about. To date, more than 550,000 people have engaged with this AI representation of SSR.Family raises concerns over the AI ToolAccording to the entertainment portal, Rajput’s family has reportedly expressed strong concerns about the AI tool. They have sent a letter to Meta India, urging the removal of what they consider an “insensitive” application. An insider from Meta revealed, “Recreating Sushant’s voice and personality through AI is deeply distressing for his family. Many fans have flagged it off as well. Meta is yet to take a call on it. In the age of AI, controlling such tools is not possible as multiple similar bots will spring up in minutes.”Family’s silence on the matterSo far, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who is usually active on social media, and other family members have not said anything about the AI tool. Background: Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and family’s fight for justiceOn June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai. While some believed it was a suicide, others suspected foul play. Since then, his sister Shweta has been advocating for justice. Last year, she released a video message appealing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in the ongoing CBI investigation into her brother’s death. She expressed that the Prime Minister’s involvement would not only speed up the inquiry but also bring comfort to the grieving families.
