Sunny, Bobby to add another floor to Dharmendra’s 60 cr home

Dharmendra House set for expansion, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol to add another floor to Rs 60 crore Juhu bungalow - Report

The Deols’ iconic family residence, popularly known as Dharmendra House, is located in Juhu—one of Mumbai’s most upscale neighbourhoods. As per real estate platform NoBroker, the sprawling bungalow is valued at around Rs 60 crore. Now, the landmark property is set to get even bigger.

Construction activity spotted, new floor to be added

According to Vickey Lalwani, Dharmendra’s Juhu bungalow will soon have an additional storey. The premises have been buzzing with activity, with a crane recently seen entering the compound and hectic work underway at the terrace.Inquiries confirmed that brothers Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are adding one full floor to the family home. A man present near the bungalow summed it up simply, saying, “Bachche bade ho rahe hain. They need more space.”Sources further revealed that the renovation will be extensive and is expected to take at least four to five months, if not longer.

A true joint family setup

Dharmendra House continues to function as a joint family home. Bobby Deol resides there with wife Tanya Deol and their sons Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol. Sunny Deol lives in the same residence with his wife Pooja Deol and their sons Karan Deol and Rajveer Deol. The household also includes Dharmendra’s wife Prakash Kaur, along with Dharmendra’s sister and niece, making it a rare example of a large Bollywood family living together under one roof.

Where tradition meets modern design

Dharmendra House is a palatial villa where modern aesthetics blend seamlessly with traditional sensibilities. In an earlier interview with Curly Tales, Bobby Deol had revealed that the interiors of the family home were designed by his wife Tanya Deol, who is a professional interior designer. The bungalow is adorned with Indian artefacts, intricate wooden furniture and family photographs, reflecting a minimalist yet deeply personal design philosophy. One of the standout features of the property is its lush green garden, which greets visitors as soon as they enter through the massive wooden gate.

Sunny & Bobby Deol Exclude Hema Malini & Esha Deol From ₹400 Crore Will?

A venue for family milestones

Sunny Deol’s elder son Karan Deol married Drisha Deol at Dharmendra House, with the entire Deol family coming together for the grand celebration. From weddings to birthdays and anniversaries, the bungalow has long served as the emotional and social centre of the Deol family—now poised to grow further with the addition of a new floor.

Prayer meetings held separately after Dharmendra’s demise

Following Dharmendra’s demise on November 24 at the age of 89, the family organised multiple prayer meetings to pay their respects. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Dharmendra’s daughters Ajeeta and Vijeta held a prayer meet at a hotel.Separately, Hema Malini organised a prayer meeting at her residence along with her daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Hema Malini also held prayer meetings in Delhi and Mathura. The gatherings were attended by close family members and friends, marking a solemn farewell to the veteran actor and patriarch of the Deol family.
