Speaking about Clavicular and his recent breakup with ex-girlfriend Lily Snyder, Tana said she could not understand why someone would treat another person that way for online attention. While she made it clear that she was not trying to judge him, she repeatedly questioned what could make someone ignore basic morals if it meant getting more views. Referring to the breakup and Lily’s emotional reaction, she questioned why someone would knowingly hurt another person if it helped their online career. “Watching this girl get so mistreated and broken up with and begging for him back… But if the only answer is that it works, if the only answer is that it works, if the only answer is that it’s bringing in views and revenue, what switch is flipped in your brain to be so okay with being so immoral and cruel to people just for like the benefits of it working.”She also explained that her comments were driven by curiosity rather than a wish to condemn him.“This isn’t me putting the gavel down on anyone. I’m just genuinely deeply interested in the psychology behind being okay with being any way to people, morals aside, all morals aside too.”
