Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda admitted to hospital

Shilpa Shetty’s mother Sunanda Shetty admitted to Lilavati hospital

Shilpa Shetty rushed to Lilavati Hospital after her mother, Sunanda Shetty, was admitted. Fans expressed support online. Sunanda’s hospitalisation followed Shilpa withdrawing her overseas travel plea amid a ₹60-crore fraud case. Professionally, Shilpa judged a dance show, while Raj Kundra debuted on reality TV’s The Traitors.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty visited Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Thursday following the admission of her mother, Sunanda Shetty.

Fans respond with support and well wishes

The video rapidly gained attention, leading fans to share their worries and offer words of encouragement. One fan expressed, “Get well soon,” while another wrote, “God bless her.” A third supporter added, “Prayers for Shilpa’s mom’s speedy recovery.” So far, Shilpa and her family have not released any official updates about Sunanda Shetty’s health.

Hospitalisation follows legal developments

As per News18, Sunanda Shetty was admitted to the hospital shortly after Shilpa decided to withdraw her request for permission to travel overseas. This move came after the Bombay High Court refused to suspend a Look Out Circular targeting her and her husband, entrepreneur Raj Kundra, related to an alleged Rs 60-crore fraud case.

Bombay HC Orders Shilpa & Raj Kundra To Deposit ₹60 Crore Before Travelling Abroad!

Bombay high court conditions travel permission on Rs 60 crore payment

On October 8, the Bombay High Court said they would only consider lifting the Look Out Circular and allowing travel abroad if the disputed Rs 60 crore was paid. The LOC was issued by the Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing, so the couple asked for temporary relief. Later, Shilpa’s lawyer told the court that she decided not to travel for now. A few days before this, Shilpa shared happy moments from her Diwali celebration with her sister Shamita Shetty and husband Raj Kundra, dressed in traditional clothes and surrounded by lights and decorations.
