Shamita Shetty, Shilpa Shetty’s sister, has sparked dating rumours with techno artist Deepesh Sharma after his affectionate birthday post for her. Previously linked to Raqesh Bapat from Bigg Boss OTT, Shamita confirmed their breakup in 2022. Recently, she also earned praise for powerfully responding to trolls age-shaming her for being unmarried.

Shamita Shetty, the younger sister of Shilpa Shetty, seems to have opened her heart to love once again. Her last relationship was with TV actor Raqesh Bapat, whom she met during ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. The two shared a strong bond on the show but decided to end their relationship in July 2022. Later, Shamita joined ‘Bigg Boss 15’, where Raqesh also made a brief appearance weeks after her entry.

Love you, my Shamster.” In response, Shamita commented, “Awww,” accompanied by red heart emojis.

On July 26, 2022, Shamita took to her Instagram stories to confirm her breakup with Raqesh Bapat. She wrote, “I think it’s important to make this clear. Raqesh Bapat and I are no longer together and have not been for a while, but this music video is for all the beautiful fans who have given us so much love n support. Do continue to shower us with your love as individuals too. Here’s to positivity and newer horizons. A Love and gratitude to you all.”

After being age-shamed online for not being “married at 50,” Shamita gave a powerful response to a troll. A user commented on her post, “Buddy Shetty 50 years have passed and there is no man.” In reply, Shamita wrote, “I want to take time out to respond to this very kind lady trying to put another woman down for not being married. Kudos to you. Mission successful, FYI getting married is not my only purpose in life. Being happy and content and independent in life with gratitude in my heart always is.
