While Shah Rukh Khan could not meet his fans from the parapet of his Mannat bungalow, he did make an appearance at a special interactive event in Mumbai on his 60th birthday. During the event, the actor talked about his 2011 film ‘Ra.One’, which was released in 2011 and even left everyone excited by talking about a sequel to the film.

During the fan meet in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan talked about the possibility of a ‘Ra.One’ sequel. He said, “If Anubhav (Sinha) ever decides to… because he’s the one who made it, and I think only he can make it again. We worked really hard on it. And God willing, if the time ever feels right, we might do it again. It’s easier now anyway.”
Shah Rukh says he made ‘Ra.One’ to start a new trend
During the fan meet, Khan shared that since it was a new kind of movie at that time, it was close to his heart and expressed his hope of starting a new trend with the film.He added, “Because I always feel that if I make a film—since my position is so good, and I’ve really been gifted by God to be in this position—then I should make things that inspire others to make such films too. Because it’s very important for our country.”The actor expected it to be called a “a superhero film” and that studios would come to India, after its release. However, he admitted that nothing as such happened and acknowledged that, as a movie, it did very well, and people loved it.
Shah Rukh Khan feels today’s audience would accept the film
Khan went on to say that back then, people were not familiar with a lot of things. According to him, the movie would have worked in the current era. He said, “Today, it would probably be more acceptable.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s next project
