Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber avoid run-in at the gala amid their feud

Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber might breathe the same air and pose at the same spot, but they certainly avoided a run-in at the recent gala. The prolonged feud between the two Hollywood celebrities reignited after the businesses and competitions were in question, leaving behind nothing but the gasps of the fans.

Selena Gomez stuns in black

At the Academy Museum Gala 2025, the newlywed singer posed with her husband, Benny Blanco. Gomez wore a dazzling black gown that hugged her figure, with a sparkly detail of diamonds that began from the left side of her shoulder. The 32-year-old completed her outfit with a tuxedo jacket, bold diamond earrings, red nails, and red lips, as well as a sleek bun.

Hailey Bieber’s espresso shots

As for Hailey Bieber, she posed with her longtime friend and a model, Kendall Jenner. The influential figure wore an espresso-beige corset, and the dress continued with a chic slit. She opted for minimalistic jewellery with diamond details on the dress and rings on her fingers. With her iconic minimal make-up look and wavy hairstyle, she completed the ensemble.

About Selena-Hailey fued

Recently, the feud between the two entrepreneurs reignited after Bieber (a skin-care brand founder) was asked about the competition in the market by the interviewer at The Wall Street Journal, especially with Selena Gomez ( a make-up brand owner). While they belong to the similar industry, Justin Bieber’s wife proclaimed that she doesn’t feel the heat from the brands she is not inspired by. As the response hit the stores and the internet, the fans connected the dots and caused a storm. However, the issue burst into flames after Gomez addressed the situation by giving a statement on Instagram story. “Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants. Doesn’t affect my my life whatsoever. It’s just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop,” she said.
