With a $ 165 million empire, Scarlett Johansson claims work-life balance does not exist: 'You can’t do all of these things all the time'

Work-life balance? Scarlett Johannson thinks the concept might not exist, and accepting the hard truth is the first step to achieving it. While the 9-5 workers put in efforts to find the equilibrium, the 41-year-old actress emphasised that no one can do all the things together. Being one of the highest-paid stars in the world, she tries to attain peace by asking herself if the situation is good enough.

Scarlett Johansson thinks work-life balance does not exist

During a recent candid chat with CBS Sunday Morning, Johansson was questioned whether she believes in work-life balance. After being asked if she had even tried to achieve it, the ‘Lucy’ actor claimed that there is always going to be something ‘deficit’ at home or at work. “I’ve learned to be more kind to myself in that way. You can’t do all of these things all the time,” the Hollywood star said, before adding, “There’s just like, ‘Is it good enough?’”Being one of the most successful actors in the entertainment industry, Johannson possesses a bank balance of USD 165 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Aside from being an actor and a skin-care mogul, Johansson plays another significant role in her life – being a mother. She shares a daughter, Rose Dorthy Dauriac, with her ex-husband, and a son, Cosmo Jost, with her husband and renowned comedian, Colin Jost.Expressing her view as a parent, Johansson shared that her definition of success changed after balancing a family. For her, she does what’s right even if it would not make her the most popular, according to Fortune. “Somebody once told me, ‘If you’re successful as a parent like 75% of the time, that’s good—if you’re doing 75% of it like right, then you’re winning, which is probably true,” she said.
