'Sarvam Maya' box office collections day 16: Nivin Pauly film holds strong amid 'The Raja Saab' release; Rs 59.5 crore total

Nivin Pauly’s horror-comedy ‘Sarvam Maya’ continues to impress at the box office, crossing Rs 59.5 crore in 16 days despite the release of Prabhas’s ‘The Raja Saab’. The Malayalam film shows strong evening and night show occupancy, proving its audience appeal. ‘The Raja Saab’ had a massive opening, but ‘Sarvam Maya’ remains a steady performer.

Two horror comedy films are running in theatres right now. One is Prabhas’s big Telugu release ‘The Raja Saab’, and the other is Nivin Pauly’s Malayalam film ‘Sarvam Maya’. Even after the release of a big star film, ‘Sarvam Maya’ is still holding well at the box office. The film has completed 16 days in theatres and continues to attract audiences especially during evening and night shows.

Sarvam Maya day 16 box office numbers

‘Sarvam Maya’ has earned an estimated Rs 59.5 crore India net in 16 days according to the Sacnilk website.On Day 16 the film collected around Rs 1.8 crore. Week 2 collection stands at Rs 22.6 crore with a drop of around 35.61 percent.

Occupancy shows evening growth

On Friday ‘Sarvam Maya’ recorded an overall Malayalam occupancy of 24.15 percent. Morning shows started slow at 10.31 percent. Afternoon shows improved to 15.16 percent. Evening shows saw a good jump with 25.85 percent occupancy. Night shows performed the best with 45.26 percent.

‘The Raja Saab’ impact and comparison

Meanwhile, Prabhas’s ‘The Raja Saab’ opened to massive numbers on Day 1. The film collected around Rs 45.00 crore India net on its first day across all languages. With paid previews of Rs 9.15 crore the total opening reached Rs 54.15 crore. Telugu occupancy was very strong at 57.16 percent with night shows touching 69.20 percent.
