‘Dhurandhar’, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles, has seemingly met its match with the release of the Prabhas starrer ‘The Raja Saab’. The Bollywood film that was enjoying an undisputed run at the box office over the past week, entered week 6 at the box office, but did so by hitting a new low.

As per early estimates on sacnilk, the film began week 6 by earning Rs 3.5 crore on Friday. This comes in as a new low, considering that the film managed to maintain a steady Rs 4.5 crore net collection, all through its fifth week at the box office.

‘Dhurandhar’ vs ‘The Raja Saab’

This dip in numbers comes amid the release of ‘The Raja Saab’, starring Prabhas in the lead. The film that was expected to make a Rs 100 crore debut at the box office was off to a good start, with the movie earning an estimated Rs 45 crore India net on its first day for all languages.While the film commanded the highest occupancy in Telugu screenings, it managed to score an impressive overall 15.63% occupancy in Hindi. With this, the film’s net Hindi collections is estimated to be around Rs 5.50 crore to Rs 6 crore net.

‘Dhurandhar’ is now on its way to the Rs 800 crore net mark. The film has a net total collection of Rs 793.75 crore in India. As per the report, the film’s gross total now stands at Rs 952.4 crore.The film has still been raking in good numbers from overseas markets, thus pushing its collections from foreign markets to an estimated Rs 285.75 crore. With this, the film’s worldwide total collections now stand at an estimated Rs 1238.15 crore.

Highest week 6 collections

‘Dhurandhar’ has been adding its name to the box office record books over the past weeks. It even scored the highest week 5 box office collection. With its Rs 3.5 crore collection, the film has already made its way into the list of the top highest earning films in their sixth week.
