Mukbang YouTuber Yuno has apologized after receiving heavy criticism for a video filmed during a long-haul flight. The creator, who has more than 780,000 YouTube subscribers, recorded himself ordering food more than 20 times while sitting in first class on a flight that lasted around 15 hours. Many viewers felt the repeated food requests created extra work for the flight attendants and could have disturbed other passengers. After the backlash spread online, Yuno deleted the video and shared a public apology, admitting that he made a poor decision.

Soon after the video was uploaded, many viewers criticized the YouTuber. They said ordering food so many times during one flight placed an unnecessary burden on the cabin crew. Others also believed the constant requests could have made nearby passengers uncomfortable in the shared space. As the criticism continued to grow, Yuno removed the video from his YouTube channel and addressed the situation through a detailed apology posted on his YouTube community page.

Yuno says he focused too much on content and apologizes to cabin crew

In his apology, Yuno explained that he had asked the flight attendants for permission before filming. He said he planned to request food only while other passengers were already being served meals or snacks.

However, he admitted that getting permission did not make his repeated requests acceptable. Yuno said he failed to think about how asking for so many meals could become extra work for the flight attendants or make other passengers feel uncomfortable. He also admitted that there was something about the way the challenge was presented in terms of the video’s thumbnail that made it seem more spectacular because he became so fixated on making it unique.Yuno assured that he will be more cautious in the future as creating entertaining videos should not supersede showing respect to those surrounding him. He concluded with an apology to the flight attendants who continued to be kind even when his demands were unreasonable. The incident has sparked yet another conversation on the Internet regarding mukbang videos and the obligations of the creators when shooting them in public places. While Yuno managed to apologize quickly and delete the video, the public reaction reveals that many people do not appreciate when influencers act without consideration of their impact on workers and other people.
