‘Sarvam Maya’ is moving ahead with good speed at the box office. Even after 12 days, the film is holding well in theatres. The horror comedy, starring Nivin Pauly and Aju Varghese, has crossed Rs 52 crores in India net collections. According to Sacnilk website, the film has collected Rs 52.85 crores in 12 days. The film did very well in its first 11 days and earned around Rs 50.6 crores. On Day 12, which was a Monday, Sarvam Maya earned around Rs 2.25 crores as per early estimates. A Monday drop is normal for any film, but even with that, the overall total remains strong. The film had already built a solid base during the weekend, which helped it cross the Rs 52 crore mark easily.Week 1 collection stood at Rs 35.1 crores as reported by the Sacnilk website. On Day 9, the film collected Rs 4.85 crores. Day 10 saw a small jump with Rs 4.9 crores. Day 11 was even better, with Rs 5.75 crores coming in on Sunday. After this strong weekend, the Monday collection of Rs 2.25 crores still looks decent.
Occupancy stays healthy on Monday
On Day 12, Sarvam Maya recorded an overall Malayalam occupancy of 25.64 percent. Morning shows had lower footfall which is normal on weekdays. The morning occupancy was 12.89 percent. Afternoon shows improved with 20.13 percent.Evening and night shows clearly tell the real story. Evening shows recorded 29.99 percent occupancy. Night shows were the best, with 39.54 percent occupancy.
