Yash’s new movie ‘Toxic’ is one of the most awaited films and will release in theatres on March 19. The film has a strong female cast with Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in key roles. According to the latest reports, Sanjeeda Shaikh will also make a special appearance.

Sanjeeda Shaikh expands her journey from television to films

Known for her memorable TV performances, Sanjeeda is gradually expanding her horizons in cinema and the OTT world with notable roles in ‘Fighter’ and ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. As per a report by Variety India, she is now set to appear in Yash’s much-talked-about film ‘Toxic’ in a special role. Though her character details remain secret, sources indicate she plays a short yet important part that ties together key elements of the story. The project also marks Sanjeeda’s debut on the pan-India stage.

Meanwhile, besides Toxic, Sanjeeda will also appear in Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film ‘Dhamaal 4’, scheduled to hit theatres on July 3, 2026. She is also part of Netflix’s ‘Ikka’, co-starring Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna, which is currently in the works.

Yash’s ‘Toxic’ teaser leaves fans impressed

‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film has been shot in both Kannada and English and will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, ‘Toxic’ will release in theatres on March 19, 2026. It will clash with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’, which hits theatres on the same day. The makers recently shared the teaser, which received a huge response. The teaser shows a big and visually stunning world that is both colorful and intense. It moves from a circus setting to places inspired by East Asian culture, covering different time periods with a dark and bold feel. In the clip, Yash appears in a completely new look.
