Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s past warmth towards her ex father-in-law, Nagarjuna, resurfaced with a 2019 interview where she playfully deemed him the ‘most handsome man ever.’ This comes as Naga Chaitanya, her ex-husband, recently got married to Sobhita Dhulipala. Reports suggest Samantha is also moving on, potentially finding love with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has often been candid about her personal and professional life, and a playful throwback moment with her ex father-in-law Nagarjuna has resurfaced online. In a 2019 interview, the actress famously called the superstar the ‘most handsome man ever,’ showcasing the warmth of their bond.

Choosing between Suriya and Nagarjuna

While promoting her film Oh Baby! on a television show, Samantha was asked to choose who she found more handsome between Suriya and Nagarjuna. Playfully, she referenced a famous dialogue from Nagarjuna’s film Manmadhudhu 2, declaring her ‘mama’ (father-in-law) as the most handsome.

Past relationship with Naga Chaitanya

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in October 2017 after dating for some time, but the couple parted ways in 2021. Naga Chaitanya recently got married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, with Nagarjuna sharing the first photos from their intimate ceremony on social media.

Moving on in her personal life

The Shaakuntalam actress is reportedly moving on in her personal life. Multiple media reports suggest that Samantha has found love with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, her collaborator on The Family Man 2 and the upcoming series Citadel: Honey Bunny.According to an earlier report in Pinkvilla, Samantha and Raj are considering moving in together and are looking for properties, intending to live together. However, Samantha’s manager told Hindustan Times that these are just ‘rumours.’Meanwhile, The Family Man filmmaker was earlier married to Shhyamali De—an assistant director associated with notable filmmakers like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj.
