Salman Khan hits back at AR Murugadoss, Abhinav Kashyap

'Kaam mila kya bhai?': Salman Khan hits back at AR Murugadoss’ claims over Sikandar failure; takes jibe at Abhinav Kashyap's allegations

Salman Khan’s trademark wit and sarcasm were on full display in the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19. The superstar didn’t hold back as he addressed filmmaker AR Murugadoss’ recent allegations that Salman’s late arrivals on set were to blame for the box-office failure of Sikandar.During a fun segment with comedian Ravi Gupta, who asked the superstar to name films he regretted doing, Salman first mentioned Soorvanshi and Nishchay. When Gupta pressed for more recent examples, the Tiger 3 actor smiled and named Sikandar. In his signature humorous tone, Salman quipped, “Kya hai na main set pe raat ke 9 baje pahuchta tha, toh usme gadbad ho gayi. Meri pasaliyan tooti thi, isne jo hamare director (AR Murugadoss) sahab hain unhone ye kaha. Lekin unki picture (Madharaasi) abhi ek release hui hai jisme actor 6 baje pahuchta tha.”

‘Sajid pehle kalti, Murugadoss wapas South picture’

Salman further took a playful dig at how producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Murugadoss distanced themselves from Sikandar before its release. “Toh pahle toh ye picture thi Murugadoss aur Sajid Nadiadwala ki. Uske baad Sajid pahle kalti, Murugadoss wapas se hat gaya wahan se seedha South picture,” he said, laughing. The superstar didn’t stop there. Taking a cheeky swipe at the box-office performance of Murugadoss’ latest film, Salman remarked, “Madharaasi karke picture unhone direct ki hai jo ki release hui, bahut badi film hai aur utni hi badi… (smiles) Sikandar se badi blockbuster.”

Salman takes dig at Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap

Salman also addressed recent statements by filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, who had made fresh allegations against him. Without naming him directly, Salman said, “Ek aur hain hamare paas ek Dabangg insan. Abhi mere saath unhone Aamir (Aamir Khan) ko lapete mein le liya Shah Rukh (Shah Rukh Khan) ko bhi le liya. Maine pichhle Weekend Ke Vaar pe aise hi bola tha ki kaam karo. To aaj wapas se poochna chahta hu, kaam mila kya bhai?”The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor continued, saying that Kashyap’s remarks against Aamir and Shah Rukh would further isolate him in the industry. “Unhone galat bola hai un dono ke against, toh na woh unke saath kaam karenge, na unke aaspaas wale,” he added, expressing disappointment at how the filmmaker had “destroyed his own career.”Praising Kashyap’s talent despite their differences, Salman said, “Achha likhta hai. Mujhe baat sirf itni buri lagti hai ki aapne apne aap ko destroy kiya. Agar kisike parivaar ke peeche padna hai to khud ke parivaar ke peeche pado yaar. Apne bhai ke peeche pado, usse pyaar karlo.” Ending on a philosophical note, Salman concluded, “Aur dost, mujhe ghutne pe leke aate ho na? Main roz subah ko ghutno pe aata hu. Lekin uske liye (referring to god).” Go to Source
