On the last day, the fans were quite worried, when the release date was pushed from April.According to the latest updates, ‘Patriot’ has got a new release date. The spy action drama will now hit theatres on May 1, 2026. It was earlier set for April 23 but got postponed.

Mammootty posted the update himself. He wrote, “Patriot in cinemas worldwide from May 01, 2026.” The makers decided to delay the film by a few days and this gives them more time to complete the final work properly. The new May 1 date puts the movie in a good early summer slot.

‘Patriot’ is a spy action drama based on a controversial intelligence mission and it brings Mammootty and Mohanlal together on screen after almost ten years.Mammootty’s announcement got plenty of comments from fans.
